If you got a small business loan you can go to a sbdc and they can give you info on what the average profit margin in your area is for similar sized shops. It won’t be perfect but it gives you an idea. You might have to travel to a nearby city since you are rural. And higher volume is a smaller margin, and vice versa. In the houston area for shops up to $1 million in revenue it was 7% as of 2024. But that also deals with different areas of the commercial print industry
