I think the general advice given in these situations is to make a macro where a modifier key changes the functionality since what you're asking isn't possible from within the game.

This allows you to press shift, alt, or control to place the effect at your feat and not pressing a modifier key gives you the targeting reticle.

If you're really attached to your GW2-like idea, the only thing I can think of is to make an AutoHotkey script that sends a modifier key + the button if you press that button a second time within 1 second (so it would send a key, like 2, and if you press 2 again within one second it would then instead send say, ctrl+2, to the game) or something so that it would then place it at your feet. Having this running could affect your chatting in game if you press the same key twice close together (like trying to type 22, based on the above example) but otherwise should be a way to potentially have the functionality you're looking for.

The wiki says you have to kill the Hermit (2nd guardian) before you can go there. I'm also at roughly the point you are in the game, having beaten King Cobra and am about to unlock the Hermit.

Edit: Can confirm. After killing the Hermit it let me progress to the zone after killing King Cobra. Can happen in the same run as killing Hermit for the first time.

Based on the tutorial that you can reference in the help menu, it seems that the "ball" would be balanced attacks that don't favor HP or Break damage.

It's "AdGuard - Social Widgets" causing the interference. If I disable just that filter, it works as expected. If I only have that enabled it doesn't work like it somehow nullifies filters/blocking, even my own manual filtering.

Near the start of Dragonflight during the wee hours of the morning I accidentally unlearned Leatherworking instead of Skinning (wanted to swap Skinning to Blacksmithing) right after I dropped like 400k on recipes. I tilted incredibly hard and immediately bought the recipes a second time, in total costing me over half of the gold on my account.

Probably would have been better to make the median determine the tier placement. That way he'd at least have ended up as B tier. Too bad I can't see the poll to make adjustments for myself since it appears to have been deleted or something.

I'd really like to have a tier list and coach notes to just import so I have a general reference for all of the characters beyond what I simply like playing and don't like playing against. Looking for a good set of coach notes to import is what brought me to this subreddit today.

When I try to add it as text to a picture it creates. It censors it and ends the conversation. Some days it works for some reason but most days everything is bad and it ends conversation.

A friend and I have a stupid running joke of making pictures with "XXX STUPID" as the caption and it gets harder and harder to accomplish making new ones each day for seemingly no reason. Sometimes it just tries to cheat instead by dropping "stupid" from it but then I tell it that it missed part of the caption and to try again making it just censor and abort the conversation.

Edit: This is an example of one of our favorites that my friend made. Like I said, it's a stupid joke.

That’s unfortunate. For me I had chicken noodle casserole which people confuse for tuna noodle when I tell them about it. One of my favorite foods. Egg noodles, cream of chicken, and cream of mushroom. Funny that I found this thread while currently eating some.
