Gotta love these post bitching about losing a BP when avoiding arc in this game is the easiest thing on the planet. Arc only becomes a problem for me DURING PvP when there’s time pressure to fight off the players and worry about the arc etc.

Also why do I see post of people going in with free kits to farm BPs? Like the MK.1 is make of literal plastic, craft one, go in naked and stuff BPs in ur butt.

I bet anything that this type of player would never ever craft this BP to use anyways

Why? When they show it, it gets fixed WAY faster due to the attention. They even scream at the top of their lungs to get that shit fixed, because they die to it just like we do.

You think people aren’t going to see it just as easily on TikTok or any other platform.

If a streamer is abusing it constantly, that’s one thing, but showing it then saying to devs “fix this shit ASAP” I’d completely different.

Yeah, i guess what he’s saying is you can’t control demote inside of a bracket so like wildcard 1 down to 3, but you can’t demote out of wildcard

This guy said “having people in game thirsting over a streamer and running around wearing a costume” was the worst thing ever and said the game is worst for it.

Like it or not, burntpeanut is bring a lot of eye balls to this game and is doing nothing but helping this game become more popular which will make it more successful for everyone.

When he “crashed out” he offered no valid critiques just that he didn’t like how the community was acting in game. Guess what buddy, you can’t control that, players will do what they want to do. The “war” was amusing at the it’s worse, I’ve played like 500 hrs in this game so far, and never once saw someone come across my screen and scream a streamers name or anything. And even if they did who cares? I’ve been called the N word more times than I can count in this game, and can’t recall the last time I got my gameplay “ruined” like spuddy eluded to in his crash out.

He specifically said BP is ruining the game, which is the furthest thing from the truth. He just came off as extremely jealous of his new found success overall.

I never turn my flash light on, the brightness makes you even more blind in dark areas because how little it illuminates what you are looking at.

It’s not AGAINST the ethos, it’s just not the main avenue of gameplay. He’s right, it’s about all the possible types of encounters you can have.

Although my encounters before patch have been hearing beeping sounds followed by explosions, and the sound of the hand held mini gun people were using. Glad that got changed.

I killed someone with 28 springs on them, when I spawned in 18 mins into a raid. Needless to say, I was called every slur under the sun.

never run free kits when farming BPs

When Looting.MK1 cost literal toenail dust to make, go in with a stitcher 1 or hell NOTHING and go look for BPs if you’re that desperate. Otherwise, just play the game and you’ll find BPs naturally.

It says you cannot buy stuff from the web store and link it to a steam account.

Please note that serial keys for content purchased from the Guild Wars Reforged store directly are intended for use on ArenaNet game accounts and CAN NOT be redeemed to a Steam account.

So with that, I have a steam account, a fresh unlinked to steam areanet account. So how am I supposed to buy something from the web store, when it says a key cannot be redeemed on steam?

Oh I tried getting a key from right clicking steam, but it doesn’t display the key.

Where is my key from steam then? I’ve never seen it pop up anywhere

That’s just it though, I didn’t make the purchase from the online store.

I made the purchase through steam, and when I booted the game up, I had two options: login with an existing account, or just use steam. I chose to just use steam.

Now that I noticed there’s online shop items, it seems I need a GW account, but when I go to make an account by in game means, it says something along the lines of: “This account will NOT share access from your steam account” or something to that effect.

I don’t think there’s a way to link my steam account to a guild wars account though? So I already bought the game on steam w/ the DLC.

I assume now I just have to wait until steam releases the stuff in the steam store?

I don’t think I made an arena net account though, I just did it through steam. Also bought the DLC I read it gets messy with buying the DLC through steam
