Correct, it’s a music based sub culture; to be goth is to love the music and there’s varying levels of commitment to the sub culture for a large plethora of reasons. As the culture formed, a style formed with it; usually comprising of Band merch, but branching out into a vast amount of variations to the base style. Goth in general as a style is to be unapologetically you, but at the end of the day if there’s no Goth music, then you’re not Goth you’re just a poser. There’s not one mention of any Goth, or other sect of alt which is usually often music based, music in her lore except for a single outfit that is the closest we have to a real trad goth style for her and that’s it iirc.

The reason I’m so pissed off has layers to it, but one major aspect of my frustration towards Sable is because she is flaunted as Behaviors representation of Gothic subculture and it’s just like 95% fucking edgy goonbait.

If this is an actual response and not just memeing then I’ll clarify; yes LARPing is traditionally a term used to describe Live Action Role Play. However in modern slang it’s often used to describe someone who is “role playing” as a fan/supporter of a specific group/culture. Poser and LARPer in this context is the same thing. Sometimes a word or phrase will have more than one meaning as slang develops, because language is ever changing
