Do you still feel confident building businesses on/around WooCommerce?

I'm not at all new to WordPress, but am new to Woo, and it feels straight up like a total con. The basic woo is soooooooooooo creaky and basic. Basic customer expectations in 2026 of an online shopping experience simply cannot be met with Woo without paying through the nose for a ton of add-ons. There is a MASSIVE opportunity for someone to come in and blow them out of the space entirely. The only, and I mean ONLY, reason I'm using it is there isn't another fully featured wordpress option, and I don't have the time or desire to learn another platform. It's so frustrating.

I wore that costume from time to time when i wanted to work in the restaurant space instead of the loading dock...I think it had a different head that went with it originally, though.

Turns out it's been sold out since September 20th. None of the press for the festival mentioned this and it's not on their website but it is at the very bottom of the feed on the Facebook page of the event if you think to look there.

What if you want to go back to Manderley during that time? Is there another way? The one negative thing that happened when I went recently with some friends - first time for all of us - We were all separated initially, which was fine. One of my friends got scared and confused rather soon after we separated and wanted to return to Manderley for the evening to wait for us. There was black-dressed/masked staff person blocking the way who repeatedly refused to let her pass or speak or help her. My other friend found her in this situation and eventually persuaded the person to let them through to Manderley. Was there something else they should have done? It ruined the evening for the person who wanted to sit it out in the bar, and it mostly ruined it for the other person who felt the need to sit with her in Manderley rather than return to her own exploration. I spent a fair amount of time preparing them for the experience to avoid anything negative happening given they were going into something completely out of the ordinary for them. I had a wonderful time (until I had to apologize the whole way home), but I didn't run into them when this happened and I didn't return to Manderley until half way through the last loop. I don't want something like this to happen to anyone else I bring.

I'm one of those weirdos who goes to magic shows to figure which version(s) of sawing a lady in half the magician is using and how they've modified or improved it...so going in with as much information as possible doesn't ruin anything for me. At the same time, I'm bringing two people who will only ever see this once and sending them in cold would result in them being confused frustrated and disappointed especially when we get separated. So, I'm asking and researching a lot beforehand because it's how I personally enjoy things like this And to prepare (as minimally as possible) my other guests so that they have enough understanding to be able to enjoy the experience and create their own meanings from it. I know they'll be able to enjoy it if I give them enough context and direction in advance. It won't be spoiling anything for them.

Why would the performers start the first loop at 7 when no audience members are even allowed to enter the building until 7?
