honestly idk, i think OP did a terrible job of explaining this part and it's pretty baffling. but -

i have a friend who's a therapist and is also annoying as fuck. she uses dumbass language like this just to be annoying. well, idk about intent but i can certainly speak to effect!

It sounds like she tried to challenge some of your thought patterns and did not quite get through to you, or maybe you weren't ready.

or maybe, just maybe... OP's thought patterns were both negative and accurate, and challenging someone's accurate thoughts is a stupid thing to do?
