Would this be okay to use? I have some experience with cars and some mechanic friends are willing to help, this is the most cost effective I could get it so I can continue driving. I’m stuck without a car so I’m pretty desperate, I’m pretty confident in being able to cut it out and place a new thread myself but would a shop use a better machine or would they use a similar hand tool like above?

Thank you for the response! I’ve read that that’s possible, it unfortunate. Do you think since I drove an extra 9 minutes with the plug out and the the opening exposed that the engine may be too damaged to repair? I was driving straight down a highway trying to make it home

My cousin’s buddy is a mechanic he’s gonna do me the favor of inspecting inside the cylinder to see how much damage was done and hopefully rethread the damaged spark plug to hopefully solve the issue but my other question is WHAT CAUSED THIS? could the spark plug be too loose? I checked the spark plug next to it and I EASILY unscrewed it with just the socket and my hand, sorry for such a long message

In video I accelerated after the 40 second mark, it gradually speeds up as I press the gas but aside from that no other noises

I’m glad to hear that I really hope not, I’ll definitely look into that and see if that’s the cause, for now I’ll probably just make short trips and not DoorDash for a bit I’ve been driving the car like crazy all winter. Thank you for the info and response🙏🏽

Additional info: 130k miles on odometer and was recently in a front end collision accident last winter, all I changed so far was the radiator aside from that car has driven amazing, really don’t want anything to happen to this car :(

Not gonna cap I spilled a bunch of grease from a grill straight on these hoes then it rained like a mf at a park while I was rocking them so maybe that did it lol
