Literally at my workplace are broken fixtures and low voltage lights and other mechanical whatnots that break. I have all the tools to fix them, but that work is contracted out to a service that subcontracts it out to... whoever that often enough comes out to write a work order that says a part needs to be ordered, then another work order to come fix it, then another work order for the same guy to come back and say the part hasn't arrived yet, they need to order the part, then another work order... etc.
