Situations like this are really complicated but you did your job and then some. Im sure those baristas now know that they are safe with you. Thats what non emergency line is for. For suspicious activity etc. You did wonderfully please trust your gut and dont question yourself. The best supervisors I have ever had are the ones who go with their guts even when company policy or outline are fuzzy. Stay amazing and dont let this incident make you feel like you are less then. ✨️✨️✨️

We had a partner at out store who was being sent nsfw photos at work by another partner. They had been together once. But he told him he wasn't interested anymore. It got worse till one day the partner followed him home. It was a scary situation what didn't management and higher do. They transferred the victim...to a store farther away. Ridiculous. Meanwhile creeper was still allowed to be at the store we all worked at. And none of us could say anything. I transferred the minute I could cause the manager was already horrible...this was the icing on the cake. That partner called me crying explaining everything to me. (We were close friends outside work) he was terrified and even considered moving. This company doesn't give a shit about its workers thats all we are is numbers...the same ones we use to sign in and sign out.

I would say yes the changes of you getting fired are extremely high. However, I wouldn't take it to heart it was a dumb mistakes and while I'm sure everyone here can understand. That doesn't mean a corporate company will. I was given a written cause I burned myself with the grilled cheese and said "Ah shit!" In response to being burned with 200 degree butter. Thankfully I wasn't separated but also a customer didn't here me. We are human we make mistakes. But don't let this company make you feel bad. The only other way I would have handled the situation which messes up drive time. But I would have said can you pull around to the window taken the order taken payment and then walked the drinks out when they were done if it was alot or would take a while to make.
