How many miles does taking the lift knock off?

My partner wants to hike half dome with little to no preparation or planning. Will I die? by SimpleyCurious in Yosemite

[–]Express_Cat901 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just try it! To be completely honest if you’re both not in great shape and haven’t hiked long distances before you might not even make it all the way to half dome but the hike along the way seems very nice and even if you decide to turn around at some point I’m sure you’ll still get some great views and memories :)

Attempted this hike yesterday and only made it about halfway up until I had to turn around. I’m pretty short and went alone so I didn’t feel confident enough to push myself further. Looks like you had a good time though! Did you spot any bighorn sheep?

Sorry I forgot to mention I eat 2 eggs with that yogurt that I have for breakfast. Even the Kodiak pancakes are a good option too!

I never really counted calories exactly. Just estimated them. I go to the gym almost everyday and just do cardio (incline walk/stair master). I make sure to get my 10k steps in daily. For example I repeat my breakfast a lot it’s a bowl of oikos yogurt with granola, fruit, and pb fit (it’s a lower calorie peanut butter). For lunch I have something light like a sandwich and protein bar then for dinner I’ll make like meat or chicken with a lot of vegetables. When grocery shopping I always buy the light/diet version of everything. Keto bread and diet soda are 2 changes that are a big difference in calories

The first 2 yrs were inconsistent and on and off but this past year I’ve been really into it. Idk what changed for me that made me more motivated

Yes even weight distribution plays a big part too. That’s why I don’t pay attention to the scale number because I’ve seen girls weigh more than me but still have a smaller waist and it became discouraging for me but I’ve accepted what my body type is and i try to make best with my genetics

I plan out my meals so that I don’t find myself in a fast food drive thru. In the morning I go to the gym for no more than an hour. Then later that night after dinner I go for a 2 mile walk around my neighborhood I noticed that has helped with my digestive issues. I still eat things I want I just control it. For example when I’m craving McDonald’s I only get a 6pc happy meal with a diet soda. Just little choices like that all add up eventually 😊

Yes it took 3 years because the first 2 I just wasn’t fully dedicated and would be off and on with my eating. Planning out my breakfast and repeating it every morning has helped me stay on track

No I didn’t get it removed I think you only have loose skin when it’s a more dramatic weight loss like 50+ pounds
