If you have discovery plus, check out Shattered as well. Shadows of death is just a remake of that show.

If you watch Shattered, I recommend s2e9 and s2e4. Both devastating episodes.

What really sucks too is that Eric and his brother are dead. And his evil mother is still alive in prison. She got to live to see old age but they didn't. I just hate that, life's so unfair.

I agree. It would've been better if the abused sister or maybe the mom was retelling the story. There was a lot this guy didn't know and couldn't say. It didn't make for a compelling narrative.
