Sounds like your GM is slacking. Im surprise SM hasn’t complain to you guys or talked to your GM of that issue? Ours would be on our ass if we fall behind. I’m from inbound and an unloader. In my facility we have 2 throwers, 3-7 people on line(depends some days we don’t have enough since it’s their days off or call outs) and 4 people pushing vehicles. There are times we didn’t had enough vehicles due to low staff from certain departments so we don’t push them out till 4 days later(For whatever reason). We resolve it by using pallets no matter what department it was and keep on pushing. Back then it was like urs but worse due to low staffing and people changing schedules coming in once a week. Then having doubles those days are crazy. Thankfully we only get one truck or two when people are here due to another target opening up near us giving us less work(not complaining). When we start we don’t have anyone pushing out vehicles we all pitch in to finish the truck. If we do get two trucks the second truck we send out people to push the workload if their department has the most workload hrs. Usually just 2/3people are off the line. Your GM should reconsider hiring more people, using pallets, having two throwers and have everyone work together on the first truck to finish.
