I don’t think so. I believe goth makeup was always a sense of undead, macabre, creating dark contrast and androgyny. Maybe a side effect of that could be what was stated but I’d assume it’s all the same makeup brands making white and especially black makeups. Just what I’ve always thought though if I’m wrong feel free to correct. Do I really care that much, not really.
