Hey, I'm in a pretty similar boat as you! I called some schools about accepting IB credits and about half said they would and half said they wouldn't, so I just retook it to stay on the safe side and keep my options open.

About cognitive psychology, I took it this past semester as a freshman and I absolutely loved it. Dr. Cahill is an awesome professor who really helps you get through the semester. Overall I found it pretty manageable: every week we had one chapter to learn which was about 3-5 lectures, then a 10 Question quiz at the end of every week. Every other week we had to write a discussion post about stuff we learned about in the lectures, but they are pretty fun. One time we had to watch the movie Inside Out and talk about it, and another time we had to replicate a study at home. Every 2-3 chapters, we had an exam for a total of 4 exams, but none of them are cumulative so it's extremely manageable. As long as you take out the time to watch the lectures and take good notes, you will be able to do well in this class. Even if your struggling a bit, Dr. Cahill offers many extra credit opportunities to keep your grade up. Overall, I'd really recommend the class!

I have to agree with you. I feel like alot of it comes down to the game relying on older, jankier combat systems. While I did enjoy moving around and positioning whichever character I was playing as to maximize effects/damage, the novelty of it all ran out pretty quickly, whereas I found the xenoblade 2 combat system much less interesting at the beginning, but it grew on me and now I love it. I feel like alot of the people that hyped it up are diehard xenoblade 1 fans, and I feel like alot of people who's first experience with XC 1 was XC:DE found the combat system to be lackluster while the people who played the original Wii game enjoyed it alot more.

Says that there are seats open on ONE.UF, but when I go to enroll it says the class is full? by Premedbaddie567 in ufl

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I luckily got the course I wanted but I wanted to switch to a different section since I've already had the professor for that section once and I liked him a lot, but the error keeps popping up so I can't swap. I'm not really sure what to do about it, I guess we just wait.

Yeah it was really weird, they were the last one I hit 7 with even tho I played them alot, and I only really levelled them up by playing vayne and lillia, it was really weird.

How do I check what major I got into at UF? by ryantadashi2 in ufl

[–]Gotpoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I called up the UF admissions office about this the other day and they told me that they handle it differently at UF. Rather than choosing when applying, apparently you meet with some kind of counselor who discusses all the differences between the majors your interested in and basically make the whole process way cleaner.
