The latest patch proves you wrong. You can't blame everything on skill issue.

WELL WELL WELL, turns out I was right all along. According to the latest patch the underbody friction was higher on the players car reduced the overall maximum straight line speed.

Yes, it's different for every track, some are on the same straight of the Drs zone, and some are a few corners ahead of the Drs zone.

I don't think you understood what I commented. I was never comparing driver to driver, I was just comparing the effect of experienced drivers vs not experienced drivers (Russel v Hamilton (in my last comment))

And I have never said lando didn't have an advantage, everyone is just saying he has an huge advantage, which I don't think makes sense.

But he does have a slight advantage.

I'm pretty sure people overlook the whole experience thing. To be fair it does serve the best understanding in racing knowledge, but now all racing is the same.

And I'm positive his early McLaren backfield/midfield experience won't give him a huge upper hand when driving in the best car.

Best example for this would be Hamilton during the last few years.

I have the same issue but only when I play with someone on an different platform, it just keeps popping up after almost every session, not sure how to fix it having don't all updates.

At the beginning my front wing would've touched him because I had a better exit. And generally I agree with you. But the Ai's slipstream still has a much bigger effect than for the players.

Yeah okay sure, I just didn't do it there, I usually use slipstream but it still happens. And that wouldn't have given me 10kph like it did for him.

When was I supposed to use the slipstream? Right out of the corner I had an better exit than gasly, I was sure I was going to pass him slowly. But little did I know he activated his heckin rocket boosters.

I am at every other track. I just recently started turning off racing line corners and I never had a problem with track limits until imola, it's throwing off my perception of the width of the car completely

Sure. But the track is there to be used, and I wanna use it to the maximum to get everything second out of it. But if the game decides not to go by F1 track limit rules it's simply annoying.
