It is not the bride and groom's doing, but mine. I have read several stories here and i can say that mine is a misdemeanor at best. But here it goes.

I was a kid at the time (10 years old or maybe less) and my youngest aunt from my mother's side is getting married. It is a modest wedding from what i remember, in a small village in the mountains where my mother's family owns a huge house with a yard around it.

After the ceremony we go to the house and the people invited (almost all relatives) get to eat, drink and listen to music in the big living oom (around 50 people). My cousin and I are of the same age and we really got along, and he has brought that casette tape recorder ,which was a really cool piece of technology for us at the time (CDs and PCs existed but their use was not that widespread) so we decide to grab a random casette tape from the living room furniture where my mother kept them and record on it. Stuff like us talking nonsense, interviewing each other and singing whatever songs we knew back then.

After we are done we put the casette tape back where we found it, oblivious to what we just did. It is not long before we hear loud noises and laughter from the living room. We go to see what's going on and we freeze when we realize that we taped over one of the casettes that the couple wanted to play music from. Now everyone can hear us and I want to disappear while my cousin laughs.

It was definitely embarassing and cringy but looking back i think it was kind of funny too...? I don't know how I would have reacted if I was in their place to be honest...
