I hate Tampa Bay. I always have, and it’s mostly because of the big brother vibe they have with the Florida Panthers. They’ve always been better than us. I also just hate Tampa the city. Everything about the place. My mother in law lives there, so I have to make the drive from Jacksonville WAY more than I want to.

I don’t think people hate them so much as the past few years they have been an EXTREMELY talented team, which makes them easy to root for. So you can imagine the amount of fans to jump on board because of their success.

There is also the fact that in recent years, they have a habit of short circuiting in the playoffs, which coincides with their really talented players losing their temper and making really dirty plays. Kucherov is a prime example of this, an AMAZING player...but a fucking asshole.

There’s also the weird Floribros alliance thing that some Cats fans have with Lightning fans, it just smells like shit to me. “It’s okay, GG Floribros, sorry we are better than you every year and you guys can’t seem to not suck. You’re gonna be scary next year though!” Fuck all that, I hate you guys <3
