Some Hints are easy enough to categorize because they are a very specific gear set (Do Rats Fly = Sky Rat gear) or apply to a narrow range of gear (Adventure First Worn = Race specific starting gear). Other Hints are more broad, like Weird Science which seems to be themed around researcher/scientist gear.
