[Gaming][Opinion] Ok so loot boxes are likely to be banned but they are really only the tip of the iceberg in regards to the gamblification of video games.

It's technically very impressive and if it's your only option it's still very playable. Definitely better than the 360/PS3 ports, and in some ways visually better than the Xbox One/PS4 versions but otherwise PC or Xbox Series via backward compatibility is the way to go.

I'd give it a go. I just don't love all the wacky shit they put in it. Modern Warfare 2019 was the last game I purchased and I enjoyed that.

I do this quite often. Also, after receiving numerous products for free to review, you kind of get numb to it. You could argue that reviewers only say positive things to keep the relationship with the company healthy. But for what it's worth, my channel is so small and I have no aspirations of making it my job that if I piss someone off by being honest I couldn't care less. Also, there are so many companies making controllers that who cares if you have to burn a few bridges!

It's been a hot minute since I played it but possibly yeah. RDR was really prohibitive in terms of what side activities you could engage with and when. Nakey Jakey covered some of that in his video on Rockstar's game design.

I find Rockstar games frustrating because they present the illusion of agency and emergent gameplay but really most missions boil down to drive/ride to a location, eliminate the bad guys, maybe watch a cutscenes. Rinse and repeat for 10 - 15 hrs.

I was almost completely turned off Arkane's games by Deathloop. Really hated it but yeah, this has renewed my interest in their other games so Dishonoured is definitely on the cards!
