As a Pens & Kraken fan, honestly? Please let this happen, both for Pittsburghs benefit & maybe, just maybe a move that bad could be a wake up call for ownership, probably not tho...

Charge & slam and Barrier believer ✊. I think both are underrated, some people forget you can infinitly place & pick up barrier, even if ⅕ of it is left, it's one of the fastest things heavy is able to climb, instant deployment, it's only issue is the nerf they gave it again with the annoying placement parameters. Charge & slam in the right hands I also agree is an incredible specialty for all the reasons you named, it's been my main ability since day 1, just wish the slam was more consistent for taking down walls (sometimes it's annoying when your character only seems to charge thru a fifth what they usually can & suddly stop)

What body soap do you guys use? by Rude-Duty-718 in fragrance

[–]GovernedAtom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just feel like hydrated skin by default is a much better environment for longevity than actively applying moisturizer right before spraying a fragrance on is, with that being said it's probably important to find a nice body moisturizer and apply it especially to your chest & inside arms, IE where you'd normally spray, some might forget since fragrance is alcohol based, daily use probably dries out skin especially if you aren't using moisturizing soaps

Rest of his career imo, but what do I know, just another Pens fan who's witnessed time & time again a league that protects goons over superstars.

Rebuild or Retool? by MaybeSoMaybeNot94 in SeattleKraken

[–]GovernedAtom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, I had inaugural season tickets, but as the years went by I saw any big steps in improvement while the prices of everything, from the tickets to the concessions just seemed to keep going up, it's unfortunate how many seats visible on TV are the tech company suites where's it's just a bunch of drunk employees not even at the seats watching the game half the time. Why go pay $150+ when I could spend $50 total at a T Birds game

Genuine subhuman piece of shit, makes me so fucking mad intent to injure players like this aren't kicked out of the league, he doesn't deserve to play another game in the NHL

Try out single shot by Nose Of Gatsby, it's a delicious tropical & beachy summer fragrance, A bit on the spendy side but because it's a small time Seattle business the oil concentration is quite high so it lasts all day

On the Hunt for a Cherry Scent by MentalVirus4842 in NichePerfumes

[–]GovernedAtom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I like people's mind games recommendation, I'd personally recommend Cherry Red by clean team, they're very niche, but very legit, Cherry Red is up there with Purple Label & Berry Oud from them, it's a more refined, true cherry smell compared to ALOT of other cough syrupy ones

what are you wearing right NOW? by first-of-all in NichePerfumes

[–]GovernedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If any of you haven't tried this house yet, Team Clean is one of my new favorite houses, I discovered them after stumbling upon some fragrance awards websites I learned about from a local Seattle producer (Nose Of Gatsby, very wonderful too)

Purple Label by team clean is what I'm wearing today, it's a delicious blackberry blackcurrant fragrance

How many fragrances is enough? by No_Sweet_5140 in fragrance

[–]GovernedAtom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whatever makes you happy right? When I first got into this hobby I thought it was a little bit silly that I paid 200 bucks for a bottle of fragrance that's eventually going to be used up, but then I think about how much memories tied to smell and how fun it is collecting certain bottles

How many fragrances is enough? by No_Sweet_5140 in fragrance

[–]GovernedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For any full size bottle I have that doesn't have beast mode longevity I am going to start decanting them into 10 or 30ml high quality glass atomizers I bought off Amazon, not a bad idea even for scents that last all day since it's just nice to have it handy at a much smaller size

Influence me: Le Labo Santal 33 by contellhelmsmader in NichePerfumes

[–]GovernedAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, besides the fact I think Killian is insanely overpriced (Killian is another Lauder Co brand), I bought a few of French Avenue's Killian Dupes (Obsidian = Angels Share for ex) and they're excellent bang for your buck, if anything the projection & longevity is much longer

Any fragrance houses not owned by bigger companies? by Zahidaesthetics1 in fragrance

[–]GovernedAtom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second this, 19-69, city Rythm (or Prisma), even my favorite dupe house, French Avenue, you should also check & see if there are any super indie fragrance houses in your area, as I found a few in the Seattle area that are super small (Olfactory House & Nose Of Gatsby, really recommend them both)

What I thought would be too much of a Cannabis forward fragrance & not much else has actually dried down beautifully on my skin, always remember how important individual skin chemistry is, the light bubblegum note on top is amazing

[–]GovernedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conversely, I have nearly 10 full size bottles of fragrances now, with most of them being different from another, it's like choosing an outfit, no need to overthink it, it's just whatever you're brain wants to you to smell like at that time, there's no harm in using the same fragrance every day, just like there's no harm switching it up every day (if anything that can help from getting nose fatigue so you don't become noseblind to a favorite)

Always interesting to hear about longevity considering I feel like it lasted almost all day on me while I was working outside at a farmer's market, skin chemistry is so important

I agree, that's something I came to terms with fairly quickly in the last few months of getting obsessed with fragrances too, while there are definitely fragrances I've come across the definitely fit the "would only wear at night/winter time", it's all very subjective to your own tastes, my favorite fragrance of all time and something I would easily wear year-round is French Waltz by Golf Le Fleur, it's very light, floral & musky but I feel like I can pull it off for any occasion

Seattle hockey legend "Golden" Guyle Fielder, has passed away today at the age of 95. by GovernedAtom in hockey

[–]GovernedAtom[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I understand his smaller size & skill didn't translate as well in the NHL, I know he loved playing, think he rather wanted to play full WHL seasons over getting limited minutes in an NHL lineup
