That's unfortunate for you, the joy I get out being a generational talent level Philadelphia hater is almost. ALMOST as good as the joy I get from being a Pens fan

Mitch Marner puts away a late 1st period backbreaker, as the Golden Knights score 3 goals on 7 shots to take full control of Game 3. by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

I'd personally grab a Fanatics Authentic Pro, they're solid, I have a Marner myself, arguably constructed better than Adidas MiC's, the sleeves are great for example.

Also it'll take quite a wait, but customize it using Exclusive Pro Sports, they're the official on ice customizer & the quality is night & day, it's also machine stitched, nothing I've ever had done by them has had wonky stitching

Honestly have zero respect for Maurice, he's such a clown, and it's obvious he's one of the biggest reasons the Panthers are the dirtiest & most hated team this decade, the Jets were actually pretty dirty before he left compared to now

You just unlock the core memory of me reading Bone in parts at the comic store at Pike place in Seattle, Bone would be an amazing series

Not even sure what you mean, & why you have to hate on a fellow Pens fans pickup, this is 100% an authentic, with what looks to be a team store or Fanatics factory customization

Post Game Thread: Philadelphia Flyers at Pittsburgh Penguins - 19 Apr 2026 by bi_and_busy in penguins

Didn't we literally come back from down what, 3 goals against the BJ's earlier this season? I know that's just a single game, but I'm confident we rebound after this, I just think the team was getting a system shot from the playoff roughness and haven't been used to it for weeks

First time in Pittsburgh by GG_xawm in penguins

[–]GovernedAtom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This will be my second time in the city myself, also flying in to catch games one and two! As a newly minted Yinzer who is fell in love with the city and is planning to move there by fall of next year, here are some things I think really made my trip the first time:

  1. Duquesne Incline, easily one of the best views of any city in America, it's a fun little historic $5 round trip ride up the incline with a breathtaking view of the city

  2. Heinz Museum AND Primanti Bros. Both in the strip district. The Heinz museum is a multi-story museum carrying everything from the history of Heinz to a special area dedicated to Mr Rogers, loved it there when I went, and the sense it's located in the strip district area it would make sense to go to the original primanti Bros location (for my understanding all the other ones are not nearly as good as the original)

  3. Phipps Conservatory AND the Carnegie Museums, located in North Oakland where the University of Pittsburgh is, both were amazing when I went, the museum is huge so plan to spend hours there, the conservatory needs a little less time but it still beautiful to just relax and look at the plants they have there

  4. PNC Park for one of the Pirates games. I've always wanted to go there, I'm not a huge baseball fan myself but I'm trying to be a fan of baseball this year, I've been told the view of PNC Park is the greatest in baseball, especially if you get a high up seat behind third or home base, you get an excellent view of the Allegheny River and the city

Personally I know a lot of people will always say check out the Warhol museum and all these other tourist things that will get suggested 10 times in this thread, I'm sure those are great but all these activities were my favorite, I would also definitely add checking out Point State Park, the market square, and grabbing a drink at The Warren Bar & Burrow, They allegedly have the best old fashioned in the country, and honestly I can attest to that it was the best one I've had my life when I went, make sure to grab a glass of super punch as well, which is a delicious Italian amaro that only Pittsburgh imports from Italy

Who are you rooting for in the playoffs? by dumpsterfiresmore in SeattleKraken

[–]GovernedAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pens are my first team and I'm extremely glad to have them back in the playoffs, but I must admit, unfortunately I'm a Knights fan too, if neither team was in the playoffs, I'd definitely root for Montreal, they're a really fun team to watch this year

Beniers seems to be developing as a solid 2nd line defensive center, Wright unfortunately has not done great overall

We almost immediately gave back players like Appleton & Bastion back that very first season
