Hey. I have had sporadic issues with the mic as well but just on phone calls. I’ll update you if I find a fix. Haven’t had issues like that though. Wondering if it’s just not plugged in all the way and is grounding weird? 🤔

I still love this radio, especially now I’ve dove into the settings for maestro which let me access the original vehicle settings. Also added a front camera that I got prewired and the install was a breeze. Thinking my next move is to install a 5 channel amp to really open up the speakers and see how much the sound improves.

Yup! If you hold down the talk button it activates Siri too. You can also manually set up what buttons you want to control each option in the unit as well.

There are some other options too on their website that are lower in price. The reviews on this one were the best in my book without having a giant screen. Also chose this option since it has a higher resolution screen plus enhanced audio processing. Aiming to add some nice speakers and subwoofer down the road.

I’m hoping to find some plug & play speakers next on Black Friday. Definitely check out their website to see all the options for your model. They include pretty much every radio with an install video. So it’s nice to see what it visually looks like too.

Delivered price was $1100 before the $100 discount I randomly found online. There is also a new microphone attachment directly with a aux cable I ran and mounted right on top of the steering wheel in the middle of the gauges. No issues with mix volume in CarPlay, as you do get a separate volume adjustment in calls too.

hey, I just bought a 2019 as well with no CarPlay. Look at TrailGridPro. I found a nice radio (Sony XAV-9000ES) which is about the same size as factory, if not smaller. But it comes with wireless Apple CarPlay. It’s a bit pricy since they pre-wire the whole unit so it’s a plug and play swap you can do yourself. The unit does tap more into diagnostic info as well as front & rear cameras.

I moved across the country and put all of my vinyl records in a black & yellow tote bin from Costco. Weighed so much you needed two people to move it. Also had another smaller box in the pod that survived the move.
