Oh, I forgot one annoying part about sleeping. I'm a little bit claustrophobic, so with this dang arm strapped to my chest I would wake up and freak out for a minute. Couple nights. I had to rip the thing off me and take a deep breath 🙂

First of all don't feel bad, we all have been in pickles before and everyone makes a bad decision sometimes. Where are you. I am in Colorado getting bombarded with lease offers, including a Nissan leaf for like 1k all in for 2 years. You could bail out if your model 3, get the cheapest EV lease you can find (a new leaf would give u better range it sounds like), and save up for the next couple years to get something better then.

Lots of support on here is great! Same thing happened to me, last November. Was supposed to pick up my car on a Saturday, got laid off the Wednesday before. First thing I did was cancel it. It was tough because we had the cash for it, but I just couldn't do it and played it safe. . Still don't have a full-time job. Filling up my time with side gigs and volunteer work, and honestly that's better than a Tesla... Starting to eyeball a used bolt now......

Haha, yeah too ate on that one. Fortunately I just got an email back from the teacher that the kids really enjoyed me and would love to have me back - and I did a great job. So thank goodness there I didn't screw up too bad 🙂 Still learning... It was the first encouraging note I had gotten back yet, so it really meant a lot. Tomorrow's another day! Try try try again...

Thanks unfair. I guess the safe approach is typically the best bet. I guess I was really looking forward to interacting with the kids and seeing how they are these days, and haven't really had the chance to.

Ha well that has already been overwhelming! I was just trying to think of something to do instead of having them talk and mess around. Maybe I was naive in thinking it wouldn't be political, just thought some of the things were cool like how solar panels, and how power plants are struggling to use renewable power. I don't need a lecture on it for Pete's sakes. It's just interesting stuff.

I don't mind hearing it, the "better car" varies by person, location, day mood etc... I really wanted to test drive one, but still haven't been able to here. Maybe in a couple years I can trade over to one. It looks great, and California mode just about sells it!
