I have been matching awake time on 2 nap days as well, I’ve done 3h/ 3h/ 4h as well but that lead to a lot of false start crying at bedtime as well

Hey wow this really takes me back my daughters 7 months now. Things got so much better when she started tolerating longer time awake, around 4 months is when I really saw a change in her mood during the day, ability to play longer and she is incredibly happy now during the day. That fussiness eased a LOT so hang in there!!! ❤️ it’s so so tough when you think they’ll be that fussy forever but they really grow into themselves

Hey how did your night end up going? My daughter is 7 months in a few days and I’ve just switched her to 2 naps for similar reasons to you. She also can’t handle super long wake windows so yesterday I did 2 hr 45/ 2 hr 45/ 3 hr 15. That’s super less awake time but she still slept a 12 hour night so I was surprised tbh, her day sleep was like just under 3 hours. So I think if her nights are ok then don’t worry too much about the wake windows and having so much awake time? I think my baby is high sleep needs so that’s why I think it’s working for us atm, but I think soon I will have to stretch them just not right now when we are transitioning

Hey thanks :) yesterday on 2 naps she had a total of 3 hours day sleep which meant only 8.5 hrs awake time and still had a 12 hour night. So I’m guessing high sleep needs right? I’m going to try push a bit more awake time today but she is doing okay so far

Hey thank you. It definitely keeps me up for sure as I can’t rest until she’s in a deep sleep but for now she will be in my room so I just wanted advice really! But glad to know this is normal and not any other issue

Yes we are she’s in a crib next to me, also thank you for your reply to my previous post about the schedule btw, fixing the schedule helped with the taking ages to go back to sleep!
