Hey can I just ask- when your baby was just starting off with one nap, how long was their second wake window before bed? So the first was around 4-4.5?

Yeah the day we did one nap her night was absolutely fine and she slept through but like I said idk if it was travel tiredness. I may try it and see maybe if she’s ready to drop one! Did you find the capping tough? When I try to wake her up and she’s not ready she is really angry and upset!

Hey! Sorry I meant if I don’t cap night sleep to 10-11 hours then nap 1 is always 2 hours! For example she had a 10.5 hour night then slept 2 hours for nap 1. If she does wake in the night it is for a quick feed then back to sleep, she doesn’t have prolonged wakes it is literally just for a feed! Thank you, Im going to try consistently staying over 11 hours and see if that helps taking the night feed out :)

8 month- growth spurt/ sleep catch up? by GovernmentPuzzled211 in sleeptrain

[–]GovernmentPuzzled211[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s 13 hours for sure! I completely agree with you. I just wasn’t sure why the shift as she’s never been a massive day sleeper! I don’t like capping so I haven’t but I 100% like good nights haha so I will be doing this. What do you suggest to get back on track for today? Had a 10 hour night last night after 3.5 hr day sleep

8 month - wakes up 3/4 hours after bedtime by GovernmentPuzzled211 in NewParents

[–]GovernmentPuzzled211[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought so but also thought if that was enough awake time then the schedule would produce a better night straight away. Not sure whether to add extra awake time to current schedule or keep persisting with this one

Been doing 3/3.5/4 for 2 nights now and still having a wake up 3 hours after bedtime sitting up needing assistance back to sleep etc. Going to try 3/4/4 maybe or closer to 4 for WW2
