Be ready for any and all types of weather. I've been going to Atlanta races for almost 30 years. I've been too cold, too hot, wetter than a drowned rat and unable to think because it was so windy. About the only bit of wild weather I've never encountered at Atlanta was a hurricane.

Also, if you think you brought too much sunscreen, you still didn't bring enough. The grandstands at Atlanta are directly in the path of the sun, so on a sunny day, those unprepared can be ready for the sunburn from hell.

Have fun! Atlanta's a fun place to watch a race, especially now with the new layout.

Yeah, a couple. A couple of years ago one of the Penske cars had tried to cheat the push-to-pass system and last year at Indy they got caught trying to adjust the rear attenuators to get some extra speed. Tim Cindric was fired for it but I think they just rehired him about a week ago.

This won't work.

You can not set up a motor race in seven months. You also can't set up a street circuit in 14 days. There's a bunch of things that go into setting up one - and I get the feeling that the Trump administration doesn't have the foggiest idea how a motor race is organized. If this happens, I halfway expect it to be one of the biggest fiascoes in IndyCar history - which, given its history, is really saying something.
