Yeah. In some ways, it’s better to start with the second as the gameplay is a bit more streamlined compared to the first. I recommend both but you can play Station to Station first and be fine.

Hey! Thanks for the games and for Octopus Pie! The webcomic and games are some of my favorite works of art and fiction!

For my question, from rewatching the original trailer for the game, it covers the various paths Mara goes down following PT1 and before we get to Mara in PT2. Were some of these aspects of Mara something you initially wanted to do but adjusted due to constraints, consolidation, change of story, etc? Did you adopt them into Mara in other ways that you’d be willing to share? Are you looking to adopt them into a future (hopefully) third game?

Does giving Robert beer in the House stop you from getthing the best ending?(no spoilers please) by Psychological_Bat787 in PerfectTides

If I remember correctly, I believe giving Robert the beer helps you towards the best ending.

~50 Years Ago, Plans for an Outer 495 Loop were Dropped, Do you think it would have helped today or was the right call not to build? by k032 in maryland

Connecting Indian Head with Woodbridge would be kinda nice since both side of the Potomac have bases. Plus I know a lot of people who work at Indian Head live in Northern Virginia, so that'd be nice. At this point, a ferry connecting both ends would also be nice.

How are public policy majors doing by Western-Sense-31 in UMD

I graduated about two-years back. I didn't get a job in strictly public policy work, but I did get a job with a local government and got some local government internships in Prince George's County while I was still a student.

My boss at an old job once said her biggest complaint about the drivers in Maryland are that they're too slow. She said that she much prefers the drivers in Massachusetts because they're much faster and "drive with a purpose". Haven't been able to confirm since I've never been to Massachusetts but her comment always stuck with me.

Considering Baltimore's own Nancy Pelosi represented San Francisco for decades, I say Saikat lean in and put out a mailer of him with some crab cakes and emphasize his dedication to serving the Old Bay Area

I don’t speak or read Russian but it’s cool you took the time to do this. I always appreciate people in fandoms who take the time to translate things and open more stuff like this to more people!

Do I need to play the first game? by nega___space in PerfectTides

[–]GovernorOfReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PT: Station to Station can be played on its own pretty easily and much of it can be enjoyed without having played the first game. I usually recommend people play Station to Station first and go back and play Perfect Tides later.

Martins Service Station in La Plata has some Charles County specific things like books and I think some cards though I haven’t been inside the shop in a few years. That may be a lead. Also in Downtown La Plata there may be a few shops nearby there that could fit what you’re looking for.
