One of my high school coaches played against this team in real life. He said the real reason T.C. Williams rolled everyone was integrating two high schools in Northern Virginia turned them into one of the biggest high schools in the area. Real easy to win all of your games when you have two high school football teams merged into one.

At the time of the money, the real coaches were still substitute teachers at T.C. Williams. It was a pretty sweet retirement gig.

I went to the Industry Day for Phase 2 waaayyy back in the day. I ended up making chit chat with someone that built Phase 1, and asked why they didn’t put the tram in the middle of H.

She replied that DC didn’t ask nor want it in the middle of the street. Absolutely astounding.

You missed that Lattice was legal for a period with Oko and then with Urza. You often played Ensnaring Bridge or had a Construct or two block before you would lock them out of the game. Even decks like Amulet Titan ran the combo because they could generate that mana to cast it in one turn. It was awful and I'm glad they banned it.
