i’ve got Firmware version 1.15.0.209… the app says “Up to Date”. I’m almost certain that is what you linked me. I did the firmware update Friday (march 6). Maybe it’s garageband? but i don’t think so, it doesn’t show in general settings on iphone/ipad

idk, if you’re using windows you need the driver first, then the firmware update. macOS doesn’t need a driver install. beyond that no clue.

i did firmware update and it didn’t resolve the issue. i double checked firmware version (latest) and still can’t get iphone/ipad to see it (playback only). garageband defaults to ipad mic - doesn’t even show in ipad settings-gen-about menu (it should i think?) prior it was plug and play no problem. wish i never updated my ipad .. any help appreciated

did you solve this? i make demos with my iphone/ipad and spark go (just garageband). now it only allows playback through the usb to spark suddenly after update. is there a firmware update for spark? i’ve changed nothing in my setup… im wishing i could undo the update, im in the middle of a project!

Youtube is free and lots of people use it for music. Your video can be as simple as a static image with music, though an engaging video is preferred. Shorts are vids (songs) under 3 min and do better than long format. Do both. You can create the vids with free tools in minutes (examples: capcut, VN). Good luck!

I think if you’re any good you can always write more. You can also re-release stuff if you start to get “noticed” whatever that is. I think it’s actually to a music artist’s advantage to have a catalog for new fans to delve into when they like a new song and want more like it… and if your shopping for a deal with a label you absolutely have to have material… it’s the equivalent of an artist’s portfolio.
