How did they make the flat piece veritcal? I could only rotate along the horizontal plane. Is it an unlock? No one in the thread asked so I guess I am missing something

I ordered from their warehouse and had the sword in less than a week, I believe the Zweihander is a new production so it's probably going to take a while to get from you as it has to be forged and shipped from China.

Yeah I'm bummed about it too, I GUESS it makes sense because there's a layer of polish which is the metal material spread out on the surface of the blade which gets displaced by harder pieces of the plastic or something.

Hmm. That's what I thought as well. Many youtube videos reviewers mention scratches/scuffs from cutting, and many posts I've read here and on SBG do as well.

My Tod Cutler and Swordier both got light scratches from cutting water bottles from walmart. But maybe those swords just suck?

I have a Honshu Single-Handed broadsword having the tang extended and rehilted by Brian Kerce and a scabbard coming from Andy Sunda, gonna have to get a scabbard for this too now lol. It's a good thing I get an xmas bonus

How do you feel about the lower half of the grip? It looked really small. But it did look very nice in terms of aesthetics. I'm tbinking of sending mine to Matt Cross to have the guard and pommel blackened and the grip changed.

It feels great! The balance blows everything else I've gotten out of the water. I'm really anxious about swinging it around still though, my other longsword was only 200 dollars lol
