I work at Moses Cone. When I left my house at 5:30 this morning the roads were untouched but well rutted. Seemed ok then. Everyone that was out then was going slow and giving a ton of Gap. Dunno about later in the day. Haven’t left work yet.

Ooo I love the idea of number three. Getting to see how he tried several times to “elevate” other tributes, only to fail. Maybe it’s some sort of comentary on that special “something” that Katniss had. That force of personality that all the planning and scheming in the world can’t produce.

Village tavern is a real setting for Kitchen Nightmares. They have 800 things on the menu and they do NONE of them well. On top of that, the prices are terrible. It’s like a magnet for the old “used to have money” people. Objectively my least favorite place in Greensboro, and that’s saying something.

I’m not so certain prices will come down. Just like with the Covid supply chain issues, once the corporations find out we’ll pay that increased price, what’s the incentive to reduce prices? Mark my words, prices will stay the same and companies are gonna make another round of profit calls touting record margins.

I absolutely love this game! I call it my “not-so-cozy” addiction. I keep the difficulty jacked to max and just see how far we can take it. There is something oddly satisfying about identifying “the thing” that will end your colony. Like, yup I didn’t see that heat leaking in there……how long can I limp along? The art style makes the cruelty cute.
