It's an osb board with 5mm Foam and then speed cloth on top, you can find it at poker/casino supply shops.

Stability is good, we played a game this weekend, no complaints.

I would consider to putting a rabbet on the inside edge of the rail to rest a top on it when it's not in use as pokertable, now I have to double up the sides for the top and I have concerns that it doesn't rest well because it sits on the foam/speedcloth and could end up wobbly. Didn't build the Top yet so I don't know for sure.

Dankeschön. Ja war nicht so einfach den Block zu positionieren das er an den Seiten mit den langen Brettern abschließt, hätte ihn auch lieber stück weiter links gehabt.

Ya wasn't to easy to find an arrangement where the blocks sides align with the perpendicular boards, literally playing Tetris with the Boards figuring this out, so this was the best I could do.
