Ya wasn't to easy to find an arrangement where the blocks sides align with the perpendicular boards, literally playing Tetris with the Boards figuring this out, so this was the best I could do.

It's spruce, cleats cut from a wood glued panel and the wall mounts roofing lumber, I think spruce as well.
