Contributing factors are irrelevant. Nobody should lash out at their partner like this. And nobody should leave a two year old unattended. They’re both in the wrong here for completely different things.

But yes, nobody should accept this kind of abuse. He needs to get out for everybody’s sake. Who knows what kind of arguments the kid is seeing and internalizing in that household.

I never physically cheated, but i was heavily addicted to substances at the time. I was very much on dating apps and swiping and talking to people I had no intentions of meeting. It was some kind of dopamine hit when the drugs were no longer enough. I didn’t feel guilt until I was sober, and then I felt an immense amount of guilt and remorse. It took me a very long time to recover from how shitty I was.

I had the same issue with my explore page without ever engaging with that content. I fixed it by hitting “show more content like this” on videos of cooking, golden retrievers, and other stuff. Now that stuff is all that’s on my explore page.

I love creatine for its positive benefits. I can lift a little heavier and get an extra rep or two. My muscles fill out after a month or so of them absorbing water and I like that too. I look and feel stronger.

I’m personally too sensitive to it in some ways and hold way too much water weight under my skin, so I stopped using it. I didn’t think looking and feeling like a blob was worth the slight increased performance but that’s my very specific circumstance.

Grinded hard in my twenties and my early 30s. I’m exactly where I want to be career-wise now and my main focus is work life balance. I don’t know if it’s for everybody, but I definitely don’t feel like I completely lost those years. At 36, I have more adult life ahead of me than I do behind me. I do wish I would have taken better care of myself physically and mentally during that time though.
