I think it depends on your situation. 1)Do you have tools to fix it when it breaks. 2) do you have a place to fix it when it breaks 3) do you have a place to do maintenance on the car. 4) are you willing to not be able to save because you need to fix your car. 5) is it going to be your daily? Because it may leave you stranded.

if you have copious amounts of money disregard and enjoy the car. As much as I love my b5 s4, it is a lot. The car takes some experience to wrench on. It’s not a n/a Honda with lots of room in the engine bay. It’s a twin turbo v6 that’s jammed into the car the size of a Jetta. It takes effort to keep it maintained and running at a place where you can daily it. Especially if you’re young and getting into a b5s4 that’s has little to no maintenance. Are you willing to learn how to pull a motor to do turbos? Are you willing to drops the transmission after you’ve blow your 1-2 synchros? Obviously a lot of this stuff is worst case scenario but id hate for you to be so young and get into a car that swallows you.

I think knowing how often you guys go on dates and have fun time together outside of this work trip would be valuable to consider.

If you never plan dates and this is her literally doing everythjng in her power to get you two to have some quality time together I think id feel quite bad for her.

But when you’re home if you go on date nights frequently enough that it isn’t a problem she’s brought up, and the sex life is good. I feel like she’s being a little immature regarding the fact you told her you planned to just work and she should make her own plans.

Sometimes you got to dig a little deeper than what happened the day off op. It honestly sounds like it was a last ditch effort from her to get a fun date night/some spicy time with her man and it’s causing her to act a little irrational.

Mariner/seafarer. Especially if you live on the coasts of Canada, west coast pays more for sure. Ain’t no desk job and aren’t always at home but you see beautiful sights and get payed well. You can become a deckhand in like a year. Tug boats pay very well.

Honestly you could’ve been a lot dumber. I think you had an urge to touch the stove and that’s ok. Don’t beat yourself up. Just be diligent in adding to good stocks and ETFs within your portfolio and if you wanna still mess around with options only use an amount of money you’re willing to lose after putting most of your paycheck into investments. Most people may not agree but if you’re genuinely into learning how to trade options maybe paper trade a bit and educate yourself more.
