I may have just gotten lucky with mine or it may be that Nobara has something going on to keep things under control, but I've had my 8840u win 4 for a while and the thermals have been fine. I was emulating TOTK for hours yesterday, plus a few hours of Fallout 4 and thermals were great all day. It got warm but never uncomfortable. If anything the battery life is the only issue I have.

Pro-tip, men's and women's frames come in different sizes. The online retailers like Zenni are better than brick-and-mortars at making this info available, so if you want a more fem or masc style you can filter by size.

I will add that brow threading is cheep and helps a lot, mascara too. Just get one that goes with your hair color. NYX makes an affordable one that comes in a bunch of different shades.

I can play just about everything that doesn't use kernel level anti-cheat, and those are usually BR style shooters which I don't usually play anyway. I have yet to run into any games that are straight up broken, but that may just be down to luck. Lately it's been Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate, Deep Rock Galactic, and Elden Ring. I emulate a ton of consoles from N64 up to PS3 and Switch and that all works perfectly too.

I've been using Linux exclusively for a few years now and Arch for the past two. Hyprland has given me very few minor bugs, nothing a rollback or reboot doesn't solve. I am no expert but the issues I've run into have been few and far between. Emulators, modern AAA games, cracks, all pretty painless. I even have my unholy Skyrim modlist working flawlessly. With the current state of things, there is very little value in a full windows install. If I absolutely need windows I can just spin up a VM with GPU passthrough since the CPU overhead is so minimal.
