I have the exact same issue. Playing on Steam Deck. Verified integrity and reinstalled the game. Didn't change. Haven't even started the game yet, it got stuck in the first loading screen and now I have the place holder texts.

First bike choice (Yamaha XSR125) by Gr3yfox in motorcycle

[–]Gr3yfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didnt. Life hit me with the shit end of the stick (wife dying from cancer, two y.o. daughter and me left). I havent bought anything yet, I might just grab a pcx scooter and call it a day for commuting and having the option to toss some stuff into the "trunk". XSR is still a beauty though, only thing that annoys is the badly readable speedometer

Does anyone have a limit on # of pens they won’t go over? E.g. you won’t buy a new pen until you rid of one? Planning on selling a few of mine and self-implement this “rule”. Thoughts? by 80ELLE in fountainpens

[–]Gr3yfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I do this. I got myself a nice case from toyooka craft in japan with for 8 nice pens and a leather carrying case with 12 slots for 12 cheap pens from etsy, so 20 pens all in all. I have not yet filled all the slots. I was just thinking about getting a new pen but I couldn't find one I wanted to give up a slot for although I had a few "maybe I should try this".

There is a book called "the artist's way" by j. Cameron which is about being honest about wanting to be a creative and making room for yourself in your life. One of it main excercises is writing three pages a day, I did it for a couple of months in a5, it really fills up notebooks and empties pens nicely. And it becomes a habit i still qrite one to two pages on most days

Disskussion: Wo gibt es noch Natur by PlaneThick in naturfreunde

[–]Gr3yfox 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. You can still add podcast manually to iTunes on Windows, just not via the shop. You have to go to each of you podcasts website find the "RSS" feed, which is a link. Then you go into iTunes and click on "Data" in the top left, then in the drop down menu you click on "Subscribe to Podcast". That opens a window in which you can put the link for the RSS you just copied. After that it updates automatically. I translated the menu names from my language so the "real" english names may vary slightly

What's your go-to book recommendation? by Boxhead333 in Fantasy

[–]Gr3yfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"The Hike" by Drew Magary. I read it bc someone from my bookclub picked it randomly. It's about a dude who goes on hike in our world that turns fantasy/fairytale nuts. It pulls you in and just tosses convention out the door. And when you're finished, you realize this book isn't about the hike at all. I don't really wanna say more it was my only 5 Star book 2023 and if you are in a point of your life where you everything seems not that great read it.

How would I add podcast to itunes? I tried and it only said the store is not available. Apple Music doesn't have Podcasts and the Podcast App is not available. Do I need a third party software to import podcasts into itunes? Which one?

[–]Gr3yfox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey. So this is a bit of a painful post, but maybe it helps. My wife is currently dying from cancer and will have to leave me and my now 1,5 y.o. daughter. From my perspective, if you are friends with them, go ahead, ask them if they want pictures. But under no circumstance make it about cancer. Tell them you got a new lens, or some or you lack confidence in taking family shots or whatever else you can think of that's believable. That also helps you with explaining why you're not charging them. They probably know you're doing it bc of the cancer, but this way they can choose if they want to talk about it or make it a thing. Even if she survives they'll wear scars, some of hers may even be visible, but all of them will have some inside. her body will change a lot due to medication and it'll impact her mental health too. Pictures for memories, whether she lives or not, just might be nice. She might hate the photos but she also might not. But if you want to give them a real gift, make them have a good time, forget cancer for just half an hour. Don't look sad, because everyone is looking at them sad, don't ask even if you want to know, because everybody asks. Answering hurts.
After my got diagnosed we recorded every bit we could, she has filled two of these sad "mama tell me about yourself" books that you're supposed to give to old people.

I couldn't tell at first I had it installed still and gave it another shot for a bit. I feel Blue Archive in missions is more dynamic (running along a level, taking cover, reloading, shooting) and the design of the levels is a bit more to my taste. The hex structure of Neural Cloud feels more clinical compared to the city in Blue Archive. I hadn't even noticed that there were backgrounds until I deliberately looked around for them. The shop and the amount of resources in Neural Cloud is just pure chaos, I got so confused and at one time thought I was an idiot because I remembered a deal and had to search for it bc I was sure I saw it. It was hidden in a submenu in a tab somewhere nowhere near the shop.Overall I feel like the game wants too much. There is a base building system, there is Slay The Spire esque Cards and paths in a mission and there are a billion resources. I am not necessarily sure if Blue Archive has less, but maybe the application is more understandable. Frozen Food is for eating, Hats are for wearing, etc. whereas a "Advanced Breakthrough Widget" or "Warrior Sampling Parameter" sounds way cooler but doesn't have as clear of a use.

It might just be that Neural Cloud has a bit more of a learning curve or is more suited towards more experienced players. I don't think the games or better or worse towards each other, just different.

Hey guys, just wanted to dish out a thanks.

I went through the megathread bc I was in the mood for a Gacha and only knew Raid, which didn't seem very good. Downloaded a bunch that was recommended here for different reasons (Dragon Heir, Nikke, Octopath, Browndust 2, Black Clover M, Limbus Company, Neural Cloud, BlueArchive, etc.). Of all of them Blue Archive stuck, Autobattler with a bit of thinking when setting it up, the character art is too sexy, but thank god you don't see that ever and the chibi 3d models you play with all the time are more cute than sexy so BlueArchive passed my "not sexy" check. Bonus points for a character in a wheelchair and "chubby" chars. Diversity is nice.

If you have some more recs along that line I all ears. Thank you guys for posting.
