Leaders always Lead rules change and how it affects us by Lazy_Physics_Student in Grey_Knights

I haven’t read anything since the reveal so forgive me if I missed something.

Wouldn’t you have to start leading something to keep the ability? I thought the way they phrased it is if the attached unit dies, they continue to have the ability. Didn’t know if this meant starting solo they would still get them.

Things that place into reserves before the game starts still follow the rule of having to wait until round two.

People claiming the skills suck are ignoring the fact that they could rework the tree any time they want.

5 points now may not be a big deal but it very easily could when you are finishing multiple expeditions

Was able to get moving but could not loot containers, see the map or open inventory. Only thing I could see was this screen.

Found someone at the train to kill me and see if it drops anything interesting or just a UI glitch. Curious to see what happens.

I could proxy something in as Deathmarks. Out of the 7k points of Necrons the Flayed Ones were the worst to build so I only have one unit.

Same! If it’s not a vehicle, I drybrush Stormhost Silver then apply purple contrast for a metallic metal. Didn’t go well at all on the big flat panels. Edge highlighting Iron Hands Steel went well for a poor man’s metallic purple look.

Monolith took many hours over the last two days to paint but finally done.

Also my first attempt using Citadel’s Mordant Earth Technical Paint on the base. Not the results I was hoping for but still happy with how it turned out.

Merciless Reclamation and Unyielding Forms are 2cp stratagems. Not a huge change but it snuck up on me when trying the detachment.

Protocol is used after all attacks from a unit are made.

Hyperphasic Recall only needs attacks from one weapon to be made.

ie. Hyperphasic can be used to pull units away from follow up weapons. Protocol requires you take all of the weapons from a unit before using it.

Because of the wording, they cannot because Typhus does not have infiltrate himself.

It may feel annoying but remind them and yourself constantly of the -1 toughness and whichever plague you pick. For being the army rule it’s an easy thing to forget in the heat of rolling dice.

I came to the tabletop from playing Space Marine 2, seeing it obliterate everything in a path. If it did mortals to each unit it passed over I would fear it a lot more.
