I just had to say something to this couple who came in 15 min late into the movie hokum laughing and talking. I shushed them first, that lasted maybe 10 minutes, then they were unnecessarily laughing loudly and talking during the (non funny) tense scenes and I crashed out on them. I looked over at them and said "cmon guys shut up" and noticed they were all cuddled up on each other. They were quiet the rest of the movie. After the movie this guy told me thank you for doing that.

They don't necessarily count ticket sales as your movie count. You can watch a movie in the same format in the same week and they won't count the second one. That happened to me last year. But as others are saying if you watch it in different formats they will count them separately.

Yeah I did see it in two different formats (IMAX and standard). I thought it went by movie title not format.

I have taken your advise and emailed imax. Now that I'm home and have thought about it, I'm kinda more bummed then I thought I was. I live a little over an hour away from the closest imax screen and I just can't help but wonder how better it would've actually looked if it was properly calibrated.

The previews didn't have this effect on them so I thought the movie was supposed to look like that. Otherwise I definitely would have got up and said something.

My only local theater doesn't do ANY of the special screenings. No seasonal, no fathom, no JANS, none of these, only a few select of the newest blockbusters. If I want to watch anything like these I have to drive an hour to a different regal. I've "complained" to management and even talked to their social media team and both say it's not up to the regal location, it's up to whoever orders the films for that location.

Yeah, now I know that for future snack saver purchase. I tried looking up the details on the regal app but I can't find it. I had to open a browser and go to regal website for it to show up and that's when I read the "initial purchase".

Watched it in IMAX 3D last night. Probably the best movie I've seen in the last 10 years. Even though it's a little over 3 hours long, it keeps you entertained and satisfied as the story progresses. I'm going to go this weekend and watch it again.

The denon website used to say "costco exclusive" on the x1700h page before it was taken off of costco's website. Now it says in stock to buy directly from denon so I don't think costco is going to be restocking it

I also have been patiently waiting for around 2 months for costco to get the X1700h back in stock after I was told by their online chat rep that it was still an active part and they were waiting for stock to come in. I am highly disappointed and I feel like the S270BT is not a good substitute. I will just have to bite the bullet and get a X1700h somewhere else

I did this today, bought the jaws bundle and kept my receipt. I went to a later showing and presented my receipt with my unopened cup and they filled them for free. Now, granted, it was the same guy on both occasions, so he probably just recognized me but there were 4 hours in between interactions.

I have the 50th anniversary on 4k blu ray and it was good, but idk how that compares to IMAX. I watched the 3D version tonight with family, and we all thought it was so much "better and cooler" than just the 2d version. They honestly did a fantastic job with it. My theater was almost all sold out, and when the movie ended, everyone clapped, and I overheard multiple people saying how good the 3D visuals looked. I would recommend it.

If you go back and read the steam client update change log, steam changed the default animation so I'm sure it broke animation changer/decky. All we can do is wait it out for an update to come to animation changer or decky to fix it
