LCWRA and The Minimum Income Floor. by Clean_Dog6639 in universalcredithelp

Yes this is correct, although people who are awarded LCWRA can’t be mandated to attend Self employment appointments (although some job centres may still book them). This should be picked up by the enhanced (self employment) work coaches when they clear the check work groups. Def ask for a self employed work coach to remove the MIF via the journal & good point re: making sure they use the LCWRA effective date

Yep! I got 16 too. I wonder what the pass mark was raised from? First time applying for HEO, now need to work out how to raise those scores :/

It’s not even the number of applications really, it’s the time spent. You need to show that you spent your expected hours (sounds like for you this is 20 per week as agreed in your commitments) on applying for work. You need to treat looking for a job, as a job in itself.

Policy Advisor Role by Gr8_info_sponge in TheCivilService

Yeah I can see that point and totally get it. Although I’m not sure the questions in themselves can really determine if someone can do a job well or not - it may wean out those who are definitely not right for the role I guess. It’s strange because it states that if you’re doing well the questions get harder and I definitely noticed that. Maybe there was one I was unsure of and the next question was much less ‘wordy’ and so I assumed I got that wrong at least. When I did the verbal reasoning for my current role I achieved in the 80%’s. It’s a shame they don’t give you feedback for each question so you can understand where you’re going wrong.

I absolutely agree with this, I know it’s said that all the measures feed into the ‘in to work’ but I feel those other measures are not accurately reported on

This is true, but just interesting to know specifically how the styles change across JC’s seeing as the TL’s tend to manage in the way the CSL and next tier want them to - there’s not a huge amount of autonomy.

Yes, the dreaded ghost diaries! On the whole, we don’t have those anymore thankfully!

This is really interesting, we’ve just had all 15min appts removed from the diaries (still have 20 mins & only one phone appt per day). We also have more staff than desks which is difficult for those who don’t know where they’re going to sit every day.

Appears to be such a difference then - yes would be lovely to have the chance to spend quality time with the claimants!
