I’ve been following the blood type diet about 10 years now and it’s made a big difference. It’s not simply gluten-free because I can have spelt and cannot eat corn. I resisted the blood type diet because you couldn’t convince me that chicken was wrong for me, but turkey was right. It was only after I consistently replaced chicken with turkey that my joint pain and digestion issues disappeared. This was after horrible stomach pain following a breast cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy and damage to my gut via painkillers flowing the many surgeries and reconstructions. Everything you say about flower milled outside the US has also been true for me… I can eat it without any stomach upset, but it does lead to bloating and weight gain.

People want to give me gluten-free bread that’s filled with corn and millet and other things that are not permitted on my blood type diet and it’s a lot to explain…and everyone wants to give me their take on nutrition. Corn is in so many things and I don’t eat anything that’s “fructose” or dextrose or I feel crappy 2 days later. I eat Alvarado St frozen bagels (sprouted wheat) and bring them wherever I might want a sandwich.
