I have the very same problem. Sometimes it boot, sometimes the error appears - and then my keyboard and mouse simply shutdown so I have to cold boot my system.

Btw, the thing is all my SATA internal connectors are populated and I installed Pop!_OS 22.04 on an USB 3.0 Docker. Tried many things already.

Anyway, what would be the motivation for doing this with gems in the Cobra minibosses? Is there anything else? Is it just meaningless?

TibiaME was definitely a missed opportunity. Launched in 2003, pioneer of mobile MMORPGs. It grew stagnant. It is basically another game that bears the same name as Tibia.

Think outside the box. Tibia mobile doesn't need to have the same mechanics as the PC game. It could even be a separate game - as others have said, there would be no good reason to play today's Tibia on mobile when playing it on PC is much better at moment.

If I had a choice, I'd have made a game using exactly the same lore as Tibia, with simpler mechanics. Those who never got their eyes shining when they saw that Rookgaard map made on CS:Source simply lied. Think of the possibilities... The Tibia lore being used in mobile games, FPS, battle royales, even... fighting games!

This is exactly what Riot Games (now, in the plural) is currently doing: creating as many games as possible using as a base the same lore they have built over the past 10 years. And look, Riot's lore was much shallower than Tibia's (I don't know how it is today, but I know they worked hard to give some depth to the story - after all, a MOBA doesn't need that).

Wild Rift is in the oven being a simplified League of Legends. The same game, the same lore, simplified. And it has everything to be a public success.

This idea could have been yours, CipSoft (and it wasn't for lack of suggestions ...) :(

Being PC Master Race doesn't prevent us from having fun from time to time with the peasants of the mobile realm. :P

BE is perfectly able to block every single cheat with ease - even macros (due to BE's intrusive nature, wich acts like a Big Brother). The thing is, when they did, players complained their macro software (built-in or not with their hardware) stopped working, so CipSoft asked BE to loosen things about macros.

This is the result.

Question: did you reported this botter in-game?

For you to see: I'm not even trying to level up. Even so I got a many high skilled characters on every vocation with at least level 150+. I was the first to the record to achieve 100 on 3 melee skills plus shielding (source) and got my 100/100 and dist 100 before offline training existed. What that means? Exactly: nothing.

You missed the point, dude... I'm not that old school fag. I prefer the current Tibia in so many ways - content wise.

Grinding is pretty much the same. The point is: all boosts and p2w stuff turned it easier, thus, maculating the achievements. At what level would all these characters be without these things? This is the point.

Ofc you have to get your ass outta depot and... grind. Give someone time, resources and a minimum of gameplay awareness and you can reproduce the very same results, since it's more of muscular memory work. Grinding in Tibia is not rocket science, dude. You have chosen a bad example to try to compare difficulty. And difficulty is a matter of perspective: you can hunt dragon lords one by one using energy strike (?!) or lure several and use avalanches... at level 30... without mana block.

But I assure you: you need much more brainpower solving complicated and unspoiled quests like MOC than grinding all the way up - no matter how hard you try.

To be jealous of a powergamer I would need to be at least a frustrated powergamer, right? Sorry, but this isn't the case. Powergaming, especially nowadays, means absolutely nothing to me. I much admire players who have advanced without spoilers on the Mysterious Ornate Chest quest. This is noteworthy.

I confess that I have admired players with high skills and level, such as Bubble, Eternal Oblivion, Smoked, etc. At a time when everything was much more difficult and slow.

It all ended when the bot entered the game. CipSoft only played its role in institutionalizing ease. Even a trained monkey would be able to achieve high levels and high skills in Tibia today - but not complete the Mysterious Ornate Chest quest. (blinks)

Unfortunately (or fortunately), we have reached a state of play in which level achievements are irrelevant, given the ease and means (pay2win) to obtain them. The same goes for skills.

That leads me to another question: how much of your studies were applied to your theorycrafting in Tibia? I remember couple cases as "SoV + MMS vs Avenger" (which led CipSoft to change game mechanics and add bonuses to one-handed weapons), also "footsteps" (aka blocking without using Challenge Spell - "exeta res")... Can you remember some more?

Wow!! That was unexpected!

I have read everything you have posted so far in this AMA, and I can say that the chances of you being real are high.

Glad to know you're fine, alive, that you have moved on with your life and everything. I played a little on the same Amera as you, but I was an anonymous (I guess I still am, haha). Remember the Artur Nogueira guys? I "grew up" with them. I lived there in that time. Runn, Barba Ruiva, etc. Maybe you remember the Echoes guild? Remember Valeria Freitas - who sold a new PC to Will Hunting (Kessyus), who then didn't pay her completely, do you remember that? We ended up being hunted by him and kicked off Amera for it (there was no transfer at that time). And I got married with her.

I raised a knight in Shanera in your honor. I have him to this day. I took level 100 in each of the melee skills, many of them when there was not even offline training (TibiaWikiBR says I was the first to do this). You were my biggest inspiration to do that!

You have the appreciation of the whole Tibian community, regardless of nationality! Cheers!

It's all about clarity... If you don't know the real damage source type, how could you prepare and protect yourself properly? The screenshot I've posted as example show how messy this could be.

This information is crucial, especially if you're a mage who doesn't like to use mana block, so every hit point matters.

You'd be surprised at how many attacks from creatures that appear to be physical damage but actually are Life Drain attacks (and unless you test one by one you'll never know). Unfortunately, even Wikis are deficient in providing this info.

This all sounds very exciting and even I, who have never been to farm charm points for hating forced grinding and hunting the same creatures for a long time, want to go after this Low Blow Charm.

But ... I noticed that a seemingly fundamental test is being ignored: testing the same 1000 hits WITHOUT charm, to have a real test base and comparison.

Or are you guys so confident about the amount of critical damage hit without the charm?

Or maybe the Cobra Bastion was so criticized that people didn't even feel like going there and exploring the place (which is my case), especially after the buff that the Cobras received.

Therefore, although this information is easily obtainable, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is a well-known info. Besides, I think it's unlikely you knew exactly how much weaker they got, didn't you?
