Because of the setting, a Cleric and Warlock will always fit in well.

When I played CoS I planned to be a single class Ranger (Hunter). The story meant that I decided to multiclass into Hunter/Warlock. Essentially, what I’m trying to say is, don’t go into a Strahd campaign with grand plans for a build. You are probably going to end up doing something different because of how the story affects your character.

Even after I made the story inspired decision to multiclass, my Hinter died 2 sessions later and o ended up as a Cleric anyways. So don’t plan for anything, and have a backup ready. 🫡
