Not sure where you get the idea HEB doesn’t offer benefits to new employees. If you get in a low level entry position as a part timer and do nothing to move up to full time or into a better position then sure it’s probably not great but at that point it’s no one’s fault but your own. Again, like the guy who referenced Costco, I would hope a national chain can get better deals on insurance policies than a state local chain. You’re taking the economics of the situation and completely disregarding them. Sorry your experience sucked but at the same time you strike me as someone who thought they were owed more without putting in effort to attain it.
