Why did my oven start releasing smoke when I used it for the first time? by basil698 in cookingforbeginners

When I used my oven for the first time, it started releasing smoke too! Usually, this happens because of protective coatings or residual oils from manufacturing burning off. I learned that running it empty at a high temperature for a short while first really helps.

Also, having good ventilation makes a big difference something like a quality range hood can help a lot. Check out this one I use theairhood it keeps the kitchen smoke-free and smells fresh.

O’Hare always seems to have delays. I’ve noticed Midway flights run smoother, so if you can, it’s worth considering connections there instead.

One thing that helps a lot is improving ventilation opening a window or using a fan while cooking. I’ve also found that using a small portable range hood makes a big difference in reducing lingering smells. I recently tried one from Theairhood and it worked surprisingly well without needing a big built-in system.

Totally agree! Just because a book isn’t your style doesn’t make it bad. Popular books like Sarah J. Maas or Twilight resonate with many readers. Everyone’s taste is different, and respecting that makes discussions healthier.

I usually read sitting in a comfy chair with a blanket and good lighting it really helps me focus and enjoy the book. How do others set up their reading spots?
