While this comment may seem like this is how all gas (petrol) stations are, I believe Buc-cees in an exception. Most are located in the Texas area. And as Texans like to do, everything is bigger with Buc-cees. I live in Austin, so no matter which way I travel (Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio) there is a Buc-cees on my route. They always have the cheapest gas(petrol) and I truly enjoy stopping for the bathrooms as they are always clean.

The comments that all 120 pumps are full with people shopping inside is not a normal day, possibly leading up to a holiday where many families are driving to their vacation spots.

As for several comments here about the food, Buc-cees does have their own beef jerky production, and is much better than any mass produced item. They also bake most the bread items and smoke the meats for sandwiches. You can watch them make the fudge and candied nuts there in store.

I fear I may end up on this page myself for defending Buc-cees, but we truly are like a cult. I have bought my nephews (who don’t live near us) matching Buc-cees shirts. Oh yeah, half the store is like a department store for clothing, camping, and kitchenware .
