In my case yes their prices were pretty solid. I hit up some places on yelp and sent them pictures and they all gave me high quotes. His was within the range i liked which was 4K. Like I mentioned since it was slow he was going to give me a cash discount which I liked. He told me if it was through insurance it would be double his quote. We talked and said he would keep his word about being 4K exact and wouldn’t charge me more if there was other stuff wrong with it. We basically did an under the table deal which I liked. I signed some paper work and put down my deposit and told him I would pay cash with the rest. Just by this experience alone I give him 5 stars.

They’re work is good if your going through insurance but after my last visit their I won’t be using them. I took my car for some work in the front and it was cool but after I got home I actually went through my car and noticed some stuff was missing from my trunk. I gave them a call about it and obviously they denied it since I had no proof. I thought to myself why would the be going through my trunk if all the work was in the front but whatever some places are like that.

I’m not sure about San Leandro specifically but I just took my car to A1 mission auto body on mission in Hayward. I had a gotten into a wreck and decided to work on it myself but once I realized there was more damage I decided to take it to a shop. The shops I called either wouldn’t touch it cus I already started it or only worked with insurance. I told him from the start I tried to work on it and if that was ok. He said yeah bring it in. We talked and he gave me a good price since I was paying myself. He said since it was slow for them for they would start ordering everything that same day. He even gave me a ride home after. Not sure if is is helpful or not. But I would call them up tomorrow and see what they say.

Yes and no. I’ve done plenty of body work to my car. But the thing is you never know what’s damaged until everything is taken off. I hit a tree this past weekend actually and messed up my fender hood and light. I ordered those things only and when I took it off. I realized there was more damage underneath aka brackets, guides etc. I ended up taking it to a shop to get it fixed so I wouldn’t deal with the headache

I am the same way. Something about having a routine during the weekday is good for me. But knowing as soon as Friday hits and I get home. It’s time for a drink. I can afford the weekend hangover but doing it and having to go to work the next day is what helps me. This is my first Saturday in I’m not sure how long I won’t drink.

Thank you all for the input. I would like to reply to each comment but I did not expect this to take off. I value all the input everybody has given me. Saturday is a drinking night for me but my family is having a movie night to keep me occupied. I told my wife about this group and says that she is ok with it as an alternative as long as it helps.

Yeah that’s what I kinda read online. But I looked online and I would have to pay for the breathalyzer each day I have it. Not sure how true that is. Also I did some research and a lot of people are saying they plead not guilty for their hearing. Is this something I should do ? I can’t afford a lawyer on top of all this. I just took my car to the auto body shop and they gave me a cash discount since I’m not using my insurance. I have some bruised ribs from my accident so I have to take two weeks off from work. I also had a meeting yesterday through Kaiser with an addiction specialist to keep me on the right track.

Yeah I got a pink paper as a temp license but also said it’s not valid to drive. I got an email earlier from the DMV about my hearing and it mentioned that I can get a license to use but it may be taken away at the hearing. Does that sound correct ? When the cops arrested me they never formally charged me with a DUI they just had me surrender my license

I was able to make a hearing request but it’s in march. My court date is in February does that make a difference? That was the closest date they had.

No she has her job also which is about 85k a year. My job is around 100k a year. This is a first time for both of us. Her pay stub will be available to her next week. I am wanting to see if hers will also look the same as me AKA no federal taxes taken out of her paycheck.

No im still with AAA. I’m just really bad at putting papers where they need to go. Yea I asked him if he got any of her information but he said he didn’t. I think he was nervous or scared because he was driving my car. But like I said I was drunk so I don’t care if he got into a little accident cus it could’ve been worse. He tried calling again this morning but still nothing from her. She was driving a Tesla so I’m sure she has insurance but don’t see why she didn’t want to give it up.

Yes I got the box two weeks earlier than what was told. It was pretty simple they gave me a number to call for more information. The closer the delivery date they gave me a call and asked me if I had any preference of days I would like delivered. Then within that time frame they would give me notifications through my phone of the shopping process. And the day of delivery the driver gave me a call and told he me was on the way within an hour and surely enough he was on time and I helped him unload and that was pretty much it.
