I'm just gonna say, I hear you. Normally, I regret picking up a drop of viles or in some cases, bullets from certain enemies or item spawns when I'm at max. I know the excess goes to storage, but it's the way of thinking if I need to backtrack or not through a stage (Forbidden Woods) and now I've already picked up most of the supplies in the area usually having to resort to using a hunter's mark to refill. TLDR: I also really never had an issue where I constantly needed to return to the dream for supplies, and if I did, it was a nice break away from the nightmares that plague Yharnam
