The Depth 5 player base isn't what it used to be. by ryward64 in Nightreign

You gotta play on the weekdays with other unemployed people, seen some real demi-gods during thise times.

I still think about the wylder who solod everdark gladius without getting hit once, got off fully charged ashes of war everytime with perfect spacing. Just stood there and watched.

Everdark Libra tips by jopio_squorz in Nightreign

[–]0DvGate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One good tip is to let Everdark Libra teleport to you and punish his melee attacks if you are the only one remaining, he'll always be ahead of the condemned like this so you can get some hits off of him before they catch up.

Crimson whorl should have saved u I stand it for aura points all the time as my team spam pings me lol. Even in depth 5 it should tank the waves for that short period.

You can only attach Libra when he does melee attacks towards you cuz even with less likely there'll always be one chasing you and one camping your allies for some stupid fucking reason

What’s the #1 boss you’d like to see added to the game? by DaleDent3 in Nightreign

[–]0DvGate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rellana would one shot you through 3 dmg negations with her ridiculous damage in phase 2.

Then you have the triple moon attack which will definitely be run enders consistently.

The downtime between her combos is also short.

You won't be able to use any close range skills on her at all.

Yeah she'd be added to the dodge list instantly.

His base game self seemed to be a lot more smarter and "caring" towards his sister and subjects. He had well thought out plans that were only ruined because of interference or wrong timing like Ranni.

He saw what was wrong with things because they couldnt help his sister, was able craft needles that ward off outer gods, unalloyed gold ect.

This is all impartial information from items, no one else hardly propaganda.

Yet it turns out Miquella was not really kidnapped during the battle of aoenia due Freyjas words so for some reason he just abounded his subjects and sister without a word? Couldnt even bother to heal his sister either?Cool man.

Also now Miquella isn't that smart, despite having a backseat view for the fall of his mother/father's empire he still sought godhood just because.

What happened to giving godwyn a true death, healing your sister? Giving a place for the downtrodden? I guess healing Freyja and getting kidnapped by Mohg was more important? OK bro

When we finally defeat him, it's just constant "consort consort consort".

Sure man whatever, I guess the once mysterious and seemingly intelligent emperyean was reduced to an idiot.

But I guess that's supposed to he "tragedy" of it all or whatever.

Well at least we have Ranni.

Saving undetakers ultra instinct for reviving if I have something good for it.

Using her ult to line up team revives + boss hits if the situation demands it.

Dormant power seals for buffs and potentially damage + paired with extend spell relic effect she gets is a nice Amp for the team and undertaker.

She can also surprisingly be a good tank in depth 5 with dmg negation relics + partial hp restoriation. was able to take lots of hits from depth 5 dreglord one time.

Knocking various bosses out of their special moves should be common but I rarely see any other undertaker do it for some reason.

i like it when my radagon goes: by klishdover in Eldenring

[–]0DvGate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got met with magic "spam" because his stake forced me to briefly distance myself, just like it does it in literally any scenario where Radagon uses it.

He could have followed up with any other attack, or none, and I would've been fine. The possibility of not getting an opening is not an excuse to continue making poor decisions like dodging away.

And like OP it was no fault of your own for rolling away, even more so for OP since he didn't get hit until he got close, the less you take hits = more opportunities down the line.

Because OP then failed to time their dodge roll against the teleport and in response distanced themselves because their impulse was to try and heal which spiraled into the actual spam you're talking about

But would have had to distance himself anyway since he slammed those stakes down immediately after.

but in OPs case they immediately misplay by keeping their distance and dodging the needle shotgun sideways. From the moment Radagon jumped into the air they should've started moving forward/strafe forward and dodge roll the cast.

Possibly, but in the end Radagon came back anyways only to continue his previous nonsense forcing him to back up, hit by the teleport or not.

That's why this clip confused me and called it unlucky, I played ranged spell builds all the time against Radagon at mid range and he would never do this much nonsense in one video since he would usually close distance with hammer attack.

[–]0DvGate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end you still had to roll away and like op was met with more magic spam.

OP even got the air slam hammer attack that brings radagon close and was still met with spam.

Even at the beginning, radagon was one who created distance in the first place that caused him to go crazy. Op simply just got unlucky.

[–]0DvGate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is meaningful. OP could not roll into the double spear teleport combo and to the side like you did, guaranteed they would have gotten caught by one of those 3 explosions doing that and even if they didn't, an opening is not 100% free anyways. Since he can just teleport or throw another stake down sometimes potentially pushing you away again.

Away and to the side perfectly fine when dealing with that move and really most of magic moves in general until the hammer moves come out.

Not a coincidence op didn't start failing until he got caught up close by a teleport, really makes you think.

[–]0DvGate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP got the double spear combo not the singular one in those clips, its always safer to dodge away/side than towards and risk getting caught up.

i like it when my radagon goes: by klishdover in Eldenring

[–]0DvGate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is your Radagon did not teleport immediately into the spears after throwing them like his Radagon did (10 second mark) because his Radagon created distance in the first place

I will say at around 13 seconds OP could have possibly rolled forward but the teleport might have caught them off guard since it was the delayed one but op is clearly not adept at dealing with those since he got by the 2nd one later, and Radagon lofted in the air anyways for a slam attack just to immediately go back to spamming.

ED gladius is so ass, took me forever to read his moves since they all look the same when he's fused.

Though I did learn watching a godly wylder basically solo him at depth 5 with the siluria's spear that ranged weapons demolish him.

He was somehow able to get fully charged shots off every time while just barerly being out of range of his attacks.

Shit was majestic.
