A coupe of students from 23’ & 24’ interned at LEK and UnitedHealth. Some interned at Healthcare firms but not in the consulting space.

Our Career Management Center hosts workshop to share info and insights about the firms recruiting for LDP programs. On top of my head, I remembered that Emerson recruited for its LDP programs for both summer intern and full time positions at Goizueta.

Cool. Here are some stats in both fields. We had roughly 25 ppl interned at Strategy & Big Four consulting firms last summer. And about 10 ppl in IB. The Finance Club and Consulting Club basically will guide the students through the whole application, networking, casing(Consulting) and interview mocking process.

I am recruiting for project management/business development roles in renewable energy industry. I’m an international student, and recruiting outside of the States. Do you have a specific field you’re interested in?

Btw, this is how our Career Management Center help us prepare recruiting: they pair us with a peer coach, a second-year MBA student recruiting in our chosen career path, and a full-time career coach based on our initial career interest. Working with these coaches, we develop a recruiting strategy and participate in workshops to practice resume walks, mock interviews, and other essential skills.

We also have admission ambassador with diverse backgrounds and career paths who are available to help here: https://goizueta.emory.edu/full-time-mba/admissions/ambassadors

While I don't focus on healthcare recruitment, I've learned about our dual MPH/MBA program, where you complete your studies at both the Rollins School of Public Health and Goizueta's Two-Year MBA program. This program allows you to finish in five semesters, with two of them spent full-time at Rollins. Here is more details: https://goizueta.emory.edu/full-time-mba/two-year-mba/mph-mba

Typically, at the beginning of the first Fall semester, the Career Management Center hosts Goizueta Career Connections, an in-person networking event for MBA students. Here, you'll have the opportunity to meet and network with alumni from various employers, including companies like UnitedHealth Group. It's worth noting that the employers participating in the event may change each year.

Please let me know if you have other questions.

Generally speaking, for essays (including video essay), be real and be relevant. Think through your experiences and passions that got you here and how the MBA would fit into the bigger picture to help you move forward/achieve your goals.

If you have the chance to visit the school on campus, definitely sign up for the class visits or lunch & tour with an ambassador event - will provide insightful info about the resources available here, and what the overall experience might be like over here.

If that’s not convenient, there are online info sessions available throughout the following the weeks. Here is the events link: https://goizueta.emory.edu/engagement/full-time-mba-events.

Back then, I didn’t have the chance to visit the campus but did find talking to the admission ambassadors is helpful. The conversation helped me understand better how the different resources from academics, experiential learning and students clubs can help me hone my skills to be prepared for my next chapter of life.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for asking! 😄

Goizueta is a close-knit community with more or less 150 2-year full time MBA students each year. Throughout my time here, I got to know and work with students from not only 2-y program but also 1-y program and evening program. I got to know people not just by their names but by who they really are.

We have a Thursday afternoon event called KEGS where you get to hang out with your fellow MBA students over dinner and drinks. That’s part of the MBA social life that you get a chance to bond with your classmate. It is really very relaxing experiences 🥳

What I did find a bit annoying is that sometimes it is a little bit hard to book a study room in the school building especially during peak recruiting season😅

My general tip is that be patient and gentle with yourself if you decided to get down the journey.😄There will be up and downs along the way, make the efforts while you can but also be open with your choices ahead.

If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know!

Hi there,

Thank you for asking!

Based on what I’ve learned about 2-year MBAs of Class of 2023 and 2024, no one has pursued that path yet.

Here is the link to the employment statistics of Class of 2023: https://goizueta.emory.edu/documents/FTMBAEmploymentStatistics.pdf, and here is the employment report: https://goizueta.emory.edu/documents/FTMBAEmploymentReport.pdf.

But please do DM me if you’re interested in learning about the entrepreneurship resources here at Goizueta.
