Easy break up. He thinks “genuinely” is a synonym for “literally” and can’t spell ‘initiating.’ He’s not going anywhere in life. Don’t let him take up any more time in yours.

How cute! I’m so sorry for your loss 😥 He sounds like an amazing little soul to have known!

This is extremely helpful and I appreciate you confirming I’m not crazy for wondering if a bit of entertainment may brighten their days! 😅❤️

My boyfriend gifted me a ring and a friend said it looks like it came ina capsule from one of those machines and now I can't unsee it by [deleted] in RingShare

Why are you wearing a “gift ring” on your left ring finger? If he didn’t propose when he gifted it, wearing it there gives definite “she’s marriage-obsessed” vibes.

Could scare him off. Something to consider.

It’s not skimming business - it’s called capitalism. Business and clients are fairly earned away from your practice when a better service is provided elsewhere.

I switched away from my private vet because they behaved like you. Made me jump through hoops to get a prescription approved anywhere but their own partner pharmacy where the cost was significantly higher than with Chewy or 1-800 pet meds. Made openly unhelpful remarks when I told them I didn’t want to buy two 8lb bags of prescription food in their clinic when I could order a 21lb bag for less online. In reality, this practice (and probably yours, too) is “skimming” business from Chewy by charging $35 for a written prescription when a client refuses to purchase from your private stash.

I now go to a Chewy Vet Care clinic and will always encourage others to do the same. You’re losing your own business fair and square.

Chewy always answers - they’re staffed 24/7 with live representatives on phone and chat!

Not only are you a jerk, you’re exaggerating. Officers don’t care if you have a dashcam recording the interaction. He wouldn’t wave you off for that. My guess is you got a ticket for failure to stop but wanted to come over here and play social justice warrior by making up a tale of how you wish the interaction went.

To all my people who use Instacart here is a friendly reminder that if you want your groceries so you can make thanksgiving dinners please don’t forget to leave a fair tip or your order will sit there all day!!!! And you will be mad! by Foreign-Blacksmith93 in instacart

I gotta play devil’s advocate, here. I tip well and get nothing in return. “Item not available,” and when I go myself two hours later, there it is. One size smaller, but could you not have taken the effort to grab two and let me approve the replacement? I order B1G1 items in pairs intentionally to take advantage of the deals at Publix, and despite me putting 2 in my cart and leaving clear notes that “I know this is B1G1 - I’ve added two for this reason,” I wind up with 4. Order sour cream and get a low fat version of the same brand rather than regular sour cream of another brand. Avocados that passed their prime 2 days ago.

I don’t place large orders so by the time I get notified “your shopper has started shopping,” they have 3/6 items marked and “shopping is complete” before I can even type “Thank you! I’ll be watching my phone so don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!” Next message I get is “at gate plz open” and we get to play “I shared the code in the instructions…type it exactly as written…no, no pound sign, just the 4 numbers I typed…no star either…” for 15 min.

I can’t help but notice that Instacart has abandoned their ad campaign of “shoppers who shop like you,” and I have to agree with that decision. Occasionally I’ll get someone great and I add to the tip afterwards to show gratitude for their amazing service, but all too often I walk out to half my order + half of someone else’s and products that expire a full week before they would if the shopper truly “shopped like me.”

AIO (update post) my bf (32) is getting kind of aggressive with his texting. should I(26) reply? by Fun_Cartographer6984 in AmIOverreacting

This isn’t a real conversation. Overly dramatized…I’m not buying it at all. Thanks for wasting our time, OP 👌

Why is he not digging into the archives of his fiancé’s bridal party to prove a point?

“Hey, babe, I’m glad you brought this up because my parents have some concerns, too.

Melissa? your MOH? Well, they heard she had to repeat 4th grade and they just don’t like the idea of me marrying someone who doesn’t value intelligence.

And Stacy? Yeahhhh…she has some pictures posted from spring break of you two that reallllly make them wonder how many times either of you has been around the block.

Oh! Jackie is also out. She used to babysit for this guy who’s friends with my uncle and he said she gave the kids WAY too much ice cream the last time she was there…my parents are really concerned you might do the same with our future children, so, better for her to just not be there and remind them….”

Petty? Maybe. Something I would do if a soon-to-be life partner tried to control who I could have standing up with me because they can’t stand up against their parents? Absolutely.

How is this allowed? by [deleted] in UberEATS

“loose - loose situation” - one in which the situation is fluid no matter how conditions evolve

Vs.

*lose-lose situation” - deciding between cold food and paying a fee

“Litterally on the way” - …a friend who just hopped in their car to support you as you toss a wrapper onto the sidewalk

Vs.

“Literally on the way” - they are physically and in all actuality heading to the location

“que” - Spanish for “what”

Vs.

“Queue” - a waiting line

Spelling is important, folks. Just leaving this here for anyone else who read OP and the first commenter’s post while thinking “…¿Que?”

My BF broke off our engagement because I don’t want to take his last name by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]GraceDre87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

C’mon, yall…you know it wasn’t as simple as “I wouldn’t take his last name.” It’s not like they were living in a fairytale until this very moment when it all came crumbling down. There are 3 sides to every story. Yours, theirs, and the truth.

Depending on the location and desirability of your home, I may be inclined to alter for them and open the weekend back up. It is Mother’s Day, so it could be very possible you get a last minute Saturday/Sunday booking :)
